Terms of Service

The Scoop Crew, LLC (“TSC”, “us”, “we”, “our”) is an independently owned and operated professional pet waste removal business which provides professional pet waste services to private residences, businesses, homeowner’s associations, and commercial properties. The client agrees to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by TSC. By accepting any services from TSC, you the client, or any individual speaking on behalf of the client agree with and are bound to these terms.
The client understands that our ability to provide quality services partly depends on weather, yard maintenance (grass height, debris in yard, leaves, etc.), yard access, and other unknown outside influences that may not be responsibility of TSC or out of TSC’s control. TSC reserves the right to schedule and amend service dates and times at its own discretion.
- Waste Removal
TSC offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include but are not limited to one (1) time scooping, weekly scooping, two times a week, bi-weekly scooping, pet waste station maintenance, and yard sanitizing. All pricing based on an 1/8 acre area for residential clients. Our pricing is based on a service area of the client’s backyard, or front yard. Additional charges may be applied to larger service areas (yard size), and additional yard areas.
- Service Area Access
The client allows TSC to access their yard or required service area on scheduled service days. If TSC is unable to access the service area due to locked or blocked gates, if client’s dog is located in the service area, or any other reasons the yard may be inaccessible to TSC, the service will be skipped and charges will still apply. We suggest adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid skipped services. If the client request for TSC to return after yard has been skipped do to access issue, a $10.00 fee will be added to the client’s next bill.
- Weather
TSC will make the best attempt to complete scoops in inclement weather (severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding, etc). TSC will make all attempts to properly and sufficiently complete all services as long as the weather and safety conditions permit. TSC is a MONTHLY subscription service. We will not offer refunds for missed services due to weather. If a service is missed due to weather conditions, TSC will complete the service on your next schedule service (If possible, TSC will make up the service as soon as possible before your next scheduled service. We will notify you in these situations.) Also, if conditions prohibit us from servicing such as flooding, or excessive mud, the same policy applies. This allows TSC guarantee a satisfactory service, and avoid damage to the client’s property.
- Holidays
TSC will observes the following holidays, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. If your scheduled service falls on one of these holidays, your service will be completed either as scheduled, within the week of the original service date, or it will be skipped that week. If your service is skipped due to holiday scheduling you will receive a credit for the skipped service with the next month’s payment.
- Billing
TSC requires customers to provide a valid credit card or bank account that will be saved and charged on the 1st of each month to cover that month’s scooping services. We do not accept cash or checks, and we do not accept payments on a service-by-service basis when a client is enrolled in a reoccurring plan. If your payment is declined, our system automatically will attempt to draft payment from your card 2 more times within the following 5 days. If payment is not received by the 5th day of the month, the client will be charged a $25.00 late fee in addition to the original payment for that month. If payment is not received by the tenth (10th) day you will be removed from the schedule.
Payment for one (1) time services will be pre-charged the required one (1) hour minimum, and if an additional amount is due after the service, the balance is due immediately upon completion (Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, or cash. Checks are NOT accepted).
Clients will be billed monthly. Invoice amount is determined on a 52-week bases. Ex. Weekly Service is $16.99, $16.99 X 52 weeks = $883.43. $883.43/12 months = $73.62 per month
Sales tax will be charged based on rates of the client’s jurisdiction.
- Leaves, Debris, and Tall Grass
TSC is committed to always providing exceptional scooping services. TSC understands that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog waste in tall grass (any grass where the length makes scooping more difficult than necessary), leaves or in and around other debris. If the scooping area contains tall grass, leaves, mulch, pine straw, or debris. TSC cannot guarantee all of the dog waste will be scooped. TSC will not provide scooping services for rock or pebbled areas.
- Additional Charges
- Return Request ($10.00 per occurrence) (If a request is made for TSC come back for a reason out of TSC’s control. Ex. locked gate)
- Scooping rocks/pebbled areas ($7.00 per visit)
- Waiting – If TSC delayed by the client for any reason in order to complete scooping service. ($5.00 per occurrence)
- Privacy Policy
The client’s personal privacy is of high value and concern to TSC. TSC will collect personal information from the client directly, digitally, or through other electronic means. The client agrees that any information provided to TSC is on a voluntarily basis. This information includes, but not limited to name, physical address, email address, phone number, bank account information including bank account number and routing number, along with general information about your property and pets. The client’s information will only be used for TSC business purposes ONLY. The client’s information will NEVER be provided to a third-party for purposes unrelated to TSC business. The client’s information will NEVER be sold to third-parties.
TSC may provide client’s information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including but not limited to; payment processing, customer engagement, data tracking, or system maintenance and development. TSC may share client information in connection with law enforcement requests, legal subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes required by law.
- Revisions
TSC provides the above scooping services to you, subject to the Terms, which may be amended at any time with or without official notice to the client. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website, or Terms being presented to clients electronically. TSC recommends the client periodically visit the TSC website to review any changes in our Terms. Your continued use of our scooping services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms. Provisions contained in these Terms may be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our website.
- Cancellations
TSC and clients reserve the right to cancel scooping services at any time for any reason. A pro-rated refund will be allowed for pre-paid services if cancellation falls within in parameters listed below
- 60-day verbal notice
- 30-day written notice including desired cancellation date
- Yard Sanitizer Treatment
TSC offers clients a sanitizing service. TSC uses the EPA approved Wysiwash Sanitizing System Trusted by animal care professionals across the US, kills viruses and bacteria, deodorizes, and neutralizes mold all in one step. This service is a one-step germicidal cleaner, deodorizer, and disinfectant specially formulated to safely clean pet areas. Reduce the risk of Canine diseases, including Canine Parvovirus, and kill odor-causing bacteria. 100% Pet, People, and Plant safe. Included in the sanitizing service is two (2) coats and spot treatments. Two (2) coats consist of the service area being sprayed and covered a minimum at two (2) times. The customer is required to provide a water source to allow for spraying of sanitizer.
- Promotions
Initial/First Service Free
As of July 20, 2024 TSC offers its clients the initial/first service at no cost for that service. The initial/first service free promotion is only valid for clients that agree to sign up for a reoccurring residential service (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.). TSC requires the client to add a bank account or credit card for payment processing to TSC’s system prior to the start of the initial/first service. On the day of the scheduled initial/first service and prior the start of the initial/first service the client will be charged for the remaining services left in the month (Ex. initial/first service is completed on the 2nd week of the month, the client will not be charged the initial/first service fee. The client will be charged for the remaining services in the month, weeks 3 & 4). If the client cancels the reoccurring service within 30 days of the initial/first service, the client will be retroactively charged $50.00 for the initial/first service via the card on file. One-time services will be charged at the quoted rate via TSC’s website.
- Terms of Service Revisions
TSC provides the above scooping services to you, subject to the Terms, which may be amended at any time with or without official notice to the client. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website, or Terms being presented to clients electronically. TSC recommends the client periodically visit the TSC website to review any changes in our Terms. Your continued use of our scooping services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms.
